伊豆初島の「初島ダイビングセンター」の運営は、熱海・富戸を拠点として活躍されている、ダイビングショップ「シーフロント」さんの手によって行われています。
初島ダイビングセンター
このおしゃれなクラブハウスには、ダイビング受付、インフォメーション、更衣室、シャワー室、トイレ、器材洗い場、器材干し場、そしてオープンテラスが用意され、とても快適なファンダイビングを楽しむことが出来ます。
初島ダイビングセンターの周囲は、自然が良く残され、色とりどりの草花や、野鳥達があふれています。 休日をのんびり過ごすにはとてもいい環境ですよね。 
サービスが開始されたのは、１９９８年だそうですから、もう１０年なんですね。
水中はもちろんですが、島の自然も美しいまま残していけたらいいなと思います。
少なくとも、我々ダイバーは、一般の観光客以上に気を使って自然を保護していく意識を持ちたいものです。
初島～熱海港を往復する、イルドバカンス号から、カモメに餌を投げているダイバーを良く見かけますが、できれば自粛しましょうね。
小さなお子さんが、自然に親しむ為に餌付けをする事は、やむをえないかもしれませんが、理屈が分かっている大人は、そういうことは謹むべきと思います。
気をつけたいものです。
初島の自然だって永遠ではない
初島ダイビングセンターの運営をされているシーフロントさんによれば、毎日ダイバーが出入りするフタツネよりも、出入りが少ないイサキネのほうが、手付かずの自然が残されているということです。
やはりダイビングという趣味も、必要な知識やスキルを十分に身に着けて、自然破壊行為になってしまわないよう、配慮しながら楽しむ事が必要ですね。

The "Hatsushima island diving center".
"Hatsushima island diving center" of the Hatsushima in Izu pensula has been managed with the hand of "Seafront" of the shop catering to divers active based on Atami and Futo.
Diving information, locker room, shower room, rest room, tools and materials dry places, open terraces, and you can enjoy very comfortable diving in this fashionable club-house.
Nature is left well as for surroundings at the Hatsushima island diving center, and a colorful
flowering plant and wild birds overflow.
It is a very good for peacefully spend holiday environment.
It is already ten years because it seems to be 1998 that service was begun.
I do not think be to good when it is possible to leave it like being beautiful nature on the island, too though of course in the ocean.
At least, the divers want to have consideration that protects nature taking care with more than a general tourist.
If possible, let's control it voluntarily though the diver who is throwing out food to the sea gull is seen from the Il'dvacance ship that shuttles in the Atami port to Hatsushima Island.
The adult who understands the reason thinks that it should be prudent of this though the thing tamed by feeding so that a small child may get close to nature might be unavoidable.
It is the one that wants to take care.
Even nature on the Hatsushima island is not eternal either.
Isakine whose going in and out is fewer than "Futatsne Point" from which the diver goes in and out every day has been to have left more untouched nature according to the Seafront to whom the Hatsushima island diving center has been managed.
The thing enjoys while considering it so that the hobby of diving should not become a natural ravage also wearing necessary knowledge and the skill enough to the body either is necessary.
