志津川のゴマフビロードウミウシです。

大きいですねぇ！

こんな大きなゴマフビロードウミウシ見たことないです。

志津川の湾内では、牡蠣の養殖が盛んに行われていますから、きっと栄養が豊富なんでしょうね。

I observed Kalinga ornata in a Myogane area located in Tokyo Bay. In this area, We can discover many kinds of sea slugs. However, it is very rare to witness Kalinga ornata.

The Japanese name of Kalinga ornata says "Hana-Densha"."Hana" means a flower, and "Densha" means a streetcar. In Tokyo dozens of years ago, a lot of streetcars ran. When it was the day of the festival, a swag and illuminations were made on this streetcar.

When "Hana-Densha" stimulates it, it is known that I emit light. Because the state resembled a streetcar done illuminations of, this Japanese name was attached.

I succeeded in photographing the scene where Kalinga ornata emitted light this time.
In addition, it was not clarified what Kalinga ornata ate, but it became clear to eat kind of the brittle starfish (Ophiurida) and was able to photograph this.

極めて珍しいウミウシのひとつハナデンシャ。

今まで、あまりにハナデンシャが発見される事が少なく、研究もあまりされていなかったために、いったい何を餌としているのか分かっておりませんでした。

今回、千葉県保田　明鐘岬のパロパロアクアティックさんの協力で、ハナデンシャがクモヒトデを捕食する事が判明しました。

 ダイダイウミウシです。

この志津川で初めて見ました。

結構大きめの固体で、4cmくらいあったとおもいます。

色が濃い色をしているのですが、恐らくネコジタウミウシではないかと思います。

大きなアオウミウシが寄り添っていました。

ここ、志津川では、海が芳醇なせいか、ウミウシがとても大きく育つようです。
